Therapeutic Style and Specialties:

I believe people have an amazing capacity to learn and heal when offered an emotionally safe environment where they feel seen and understood. This is the guiding belief of my work. I strive to offer a supportive, compassionate space where you can explore difficult thoughts and feelings, create room for growth and healing, and connect with the best of who you are. I offer both brief and depth therapy services for an adult clientele with expertise in a wide range of issues.

I really enjoy being a therapist. I consider it a privilege to participate in and bear witness to people's process of growth and healing. I strive to be supportive and accessible as a clinician, and appreciate the importance of both seriousness and humor in this type of work. My approach encourages free expression of thoughts and feelings--at the same time maintaining a highly professional and safe atmosphere of confidentiality and respect for the client.

I specialize in issues related to depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship issues anti-oppression and trauma. In addition to this i specialize in Asperger's working on intimacy/relationship issues.

I use EMDR, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, bio feedback and emotion focused therapies.
