Therapeutic Style and Specialties:

I largely utilize cognitive and behavioral techniques focusing on solutions to stressors. I also provide psych-education and facilitate skill building to help develop increased insight, positive personal growth, improve health and quality of life. I have over 22 years of experience as a therapist in private practice and 10 years experience as a psychiatric social worker working in SPH psychiatric unit. I have a general practice treating adolescents, adults, seniors, individuals, couples and families. Specialty areas include: anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, psychiatric disorders, stress management, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), family issues, relationship stress, anger issues and eating disorders.
