Therapeutic Style and Specialties:
I believe we humans are constantly changing and evolving. Our minds,
bodies and spirits intertwine to promote growth and wholeness as we move
through our lives. Crisis and transitions create opportunities that cause us
to reassess the choices we make, often in challenging and distressing
circumstances. At times like these the presence of a safe, respectful,
empowering, and compassionate counselor can be essential. While I have the
training and experience to accompany and guide you through the process, it
is Your exquisitely unique, internal wisdom that will show us the way.
My approach is eclectic, drawing from Internal Family Systems, narrative, existential, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapies. Together we will seek deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and actions, and enable you to make conscious choices as you move toward your goals. During our time together we will learn to listen to the messages and emotions that manifest as physical sensations in your body and tune in to your own unique energy system. We will work to establish a trusting and collaborative relationship and to empower you with skills that you can use to create your most authentic life and express your highest potential.
I work with adults and couples on issues such as depression, anxiety, communication, conflict management, relationship issues, life transitions, and crisis management.

Some clients will be able to request payment from insurance as an out of network provider.
I am happy to offer some sliding scale sessions.
